Hilary Ferries is the Senior Adviser, Education Partnerships at Brighton & Hove City Council. Her aim is to build, support and develop partnerships to improve outcomes for children and young people. This includes facilitating and developing the Brighton & Hove Education Partnership which brings together all members of the education ‘family’ in the city to champion citywide priorities.
Hilary has worked for Brighton & Hove City Council since 2004 in a variety of roles including Primary Adviser with a remit for developing creativity in the curriculum, Senior Primary Adviser and Head of Standards and Achievement.
Before joining the council, Hilary spent 18 years in schools in East and West London, Auckland, New Zealand and West Sussex.
