Significant work is happening across our network and region to develop skills, volunteering, and employability programmes, particularly in the creative and cultural sectors. This is partly in response to post-pandemic unemployment, workforce recruitment challenges, the cost-of-living crisis, and the rising mental health and wellbeing concerns.
Here at Future Creators, we collaborate with the creative, cultural, and digital industries, the Department for Work & Pensions, the Further Education Sector, Local Authorities, and the Department for Work and Pensions to identify areas of need and skills gaps in the region.
At Future Creators, we're committed to supporting specific cohorts of young people to gain experience, develop skills, choose career pathways into the creative sectors, or cultivate lifelong interests in the creative and cultural world. We're dedicated to helping individuals enter the workforce, transition to new careers, and make their income more sustainable. Our programmes offer accreditation and digital credentials or badges, alongside skills and employability programmes, which recognise informal learning, skills development, work experience, volunteering, and training. We also connect young people to networks of education, training, and employment to help them take the next steps in their career journey.
