Coastal Catalyst Knowledge Exchange 2

Engaging Young People Through Creative Initiatives

We are excited to announce the second Coastal Catalyst Knowledge Exchange - this time asking: What needs to change for more young people to engage in creative and cultural activities?

Tuesday 24 June · 4:00 - 5:00 PM · Online (Zoom)

Together, we’ll hear practical examples and bold ideas from projects that are:

  • Co-creating with youth boards, ambassadors and peer networks
  • Collaborating across sectors to dismantle barriers
  • Making space for young people’s voices and leadership
  • Using creative and digital methods to build genuine engagement

Hear ideas and insight from our line-up of insightful speakers:

  • Ladajah Wilson - Youth Futures Foundation alumni, youth strategist, and public speaker. Ladajah leads creative youth-led projects and advises on national policy. Her work brings together advocacy, creativity, and systems change to help organisations embed genuine youth voice and leadership, and to make cultural and creative spaces more inclusive and representative.

  • Tiffany Jade Holland -Award-winning music artist, director, and producer. Tiff has pioneered female-led music studios, youth-led tours, and peer-led qualifications - creating and finding inclusive industry pathways for young people in music and the arts.

  • Daisy Jerome - A marketing apprentice at De La Warr Pavilion, working on content creation and illustration. Daisy is developing the “More Culture” youth pass - a creative access model with potential to expand across Sussex.

  • Christoff Taylor-  A social entrepreneur and creative director, he is the CEO and co-founderof Young Creators UK. With over a decade of experience building grassroots youth programmes in Lambeth and across London, he’s designed creative projects for Oasis, the EU, and local councils.

  • Kaia Allen-Bevan (Session Facilitator) - Kaia is the CEO and award winning founder of the multi award winning consultancy YouthTheGap CIC which is on a mission to the posibilities of education. Youth The Gap works directly with schools to identify gaps and co-create solutions to fix them, taking the weight off of teachers shoulders by harnessing the power of youth
