The Holiday Arts Clubs aim to offer diverse and exciting creative activities, with lots of opportunity for creative expression. The clubs offer a unique learning environment and are primarily focused on enjoyment. Children use lots of different materials , activities have limited instruction required and are a mix of individual and group projects, all with items to take home at the end of each day.

The clubs provide respite for carers and looked after children’s siblings are also welcome at the sessions. The programme is carefully staffed to ensure that every child can receive personal attention and to meet complex emotional and educational needs. We will be offering pre-club orientation sessions for children with complex needs to help them to acclimatise. For some children this will ensure they are able to participate fully where they might not be able to otherwise. Alongside the activities and games, we will be offering the opportunity to complete a Discover or Explore Arts Award. After the Easter Club, the work produced will be exhibited at The Virtual School staff and carer conference.
